25 Random Things about Me

Here are some random things about me:

1. I like listening to classical music. It’s timeless and sounds good live or reinvented in a remix.
2. I also enjoy listening to Latin music, crooning and big band.
3. I’ve been a lacto-ovo vegetarian since August 1997. I have a high carb and high protein diet.
4. I’m left handed while writing.
5. I love eating food especially gourmet. I’m known to have a large appetite and can’t resist an offer for any food that is handmade and homemade.
6. I’m a fan of cake and gelato.
7. I’m a fantasy buff. I believe that fantasy is more realistic than sci-fi in terms of social commentary. I do like borderline sci-fantasy like steam punk and mutant evolution though.
8. I spent around five years volunteering for community organisations, ranging from curating art exhibitions, editing newspapers and organising youth dance parties.
9. I was once a youth advocate and spokesperson for youth hunger and homelessness.
10. I’ve appeared as a model for nationwide and state-wide community campaigns and publications.
11. I performed on stage as a dancer and singer in local musicals and community events.
12. I had started to write a novel since university. It’s part of a trilogy.
13. I use to work for almost one and half years working in a gourmet chocolate shop and since then past customers recognise me as the “Chocolate Boy”. Ironically, I no longer eat chocolate as often after eating it every day for that duration.
14. In the same period, I was working in commercials, television and film, most of which were for international clients. I have also appeared in a BBC documentary.
15. I prefer dinner parties over dance parties. I like having memorable and stimulating conversations that you can hear the other person speaking.
16. I do not drink coffee and avoid caffeine. I’m an herbal tea kind of guy.
17. I can do one-handed cartwheels but forgotten how to do it with two.
18. I have an interest in reading books about personal development, stories about entrepreneurs and property investment.
19. I like IKEA furniture and I think the perfect date for me will be having tea in the store after rummaging through aisles and aisles.
20. I consider personal hygiene to be very sexy.
21. I’ve never touched alcohol. Some people need alcohol to be outgoing and social, I say just become outgoing and social.
22. I cut my hair around four times a year and style it differently when it grows to different lengths. My hair is quite thick so it can cope with some pretty wild styles.
23. Modelling for me is relaxing and fun and is my way of balancing my busy lifestyle. It is a creative and artistic outlet that lets me explore and learn more about myself.
24. I prefer juices over soft drinks but if I had to choose my order preference would be ginger ale, something lemony, then red creamy soda.
25. When I was a kid one of the things I wanted to be was a comedian and a voice-actor. So I do sometimes have a sense of humour that incorporates different impersonations.
