To a model, it’s called a go-see, to a commercial actor it’s called a casting, and to theatrical actor it’s called an audition. In everyday occurrences I’ve noticed that in life there are encounters that resemble an audition, to the bachelor it’s called dating, to a prospective employee it’s called an interview, and to a service person it’s call a consultation.
In each instance it’s about placing your best foot forward and attempting to make a good impression in the first few moments you have. Whether you make a good impression or a bad impression depends on how both parties are feeling that day and a multitude of external factors to which the other party isn’t aware about.

Whether you make a good impression or a bad impression depends on how both parties are feeling that day and a multitude of external factors to which the other party isn’t aware about.
Sometimes the chemistry isn’t right and both parties are in mutual agreement that it is best to part ways. Sometimes one party is interested but the other party is not but doesn’t disclose why. It seems to be the case that life is full of these little auditions in trying to impress people to like you and accept you, for your skills and talents, some kind of confirmation that your services are wanted.
To the bachelor who waits for that call back that never happens, where ‘next time’ really is a ‘never time’. They smile, laugh and have a great time but for some strange reason they think they are not compatible. They don’t disclose what the details in question are, but have already made up their minds that they are not a match.
To the bachelor, like the job seeker, persist and retain your sense of self. There will always be rejection after rejection. For the model and actor there will be another designer and director out there, another agent, another chance to make a good impression.

Hi there Fashion, thank you for your nice comment about my pictures. I am Australian born Chinese.
ReplyDeleteI always like reading how other people are faced with the same romantic rejection that i am.. it reminds me that we're all somewhat victims of our own heart. This is one of the more rational arguments for coping with being let down. Thanks. -Sly
