Before gearing up to the modelling industry, take on board these 3 P’s: ‘Product’, ‘Plan’ and ‘Preparation’.
Product: When being a model, your body and your personality are the products that are being marketed. Do you have clean skin? Do you have a healthy physique with a disciplined exercise regime? Do you have clean and white teeth that are straight? Do you have clean and even nails that are well maintained? Do you have hydrated and clean hands and feet that are blemish free? These are all questions you need to ask yourself every day, because your appearance is what is going to sell you, and not just in front of castings and go-sees, but every other day. You do not know who you are going to meet that day? It could be a talent scout, who knows. Looking your best is having respect for yourself, and shows that you are treating yourself like a serious business. Really there is no shortcut to good hygiene, and feeling good about yourself is also a contributor to personal confidence.
